ACON supplied and installed smart LED street lights along the entire 72 km BRTS corridor in Ahmedabad. The company reports an energy saving of more than 75%.

Buses run in their own lane at the centre of the road, in places behind railings, and stop at stations such as Jhansi Ki Rani. Double-arm poles line the corridor, each carrying two luminaires.

ACON's smart LED street lights can be monitored, metered, controlled and dimmed wirelessly. The company's Smart & Connected Street Lighting brochure shows the BRTS corridor as one of its references.
